Mensuration Maths- Definition

Mensuration is A branch of mathematics that talks about the length, volume, or area of different geometric shapes.

Area of Square = a²
Area of Rectangle = l x b
Area of Circle = πr2
Area of Scalene Triangle = √[s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c)] , Where, s = (a+b+c)/2

Some more formula's :

Area of Isosceles Triangle
= ½ × b × h

Area of Equilateral triangle
= (√3/4) × a2

Area of Right Angle Triangle
= ½ × b × h

Area of Rhombus
= ½ × d1 × d2

Area of Parallelogram
= b × h

Area of Trapezium
= ½ h(a+c)

Volume of Sphere= (4/3) π r³
Volume of Hemisphere = (⅔) π r³
